Functional Pistol Application (FPA) is a one day course that will expose the student to performance shooting drills pushing them outside their comfort zone thereby understanding their baseline as well as how to diagnose their own level of shooting. Whether the student has a desire for starting competitive shooting, self-defense, or both FPA will allow the student to understand pistol shooting at a more thorough level.

Functional Pistol Application will cover the following:

• Cold Start Diagnostic

• Grip/Vision

• Doubles at varying distances

• Target Transitioning

• Movement During the Shooting Cycle

• Pre-Culmination Diagnostic

• Designated Targets

• Culmination Drill Diagnostic

Class runs from 9am-5pm


Students will need to bring:

• Proper Attitude

• Semi-auto Handgun

• 3 or more handgun magazines (6 for single stack)

• Quality holster (outside the waistband preferred/concealed please email)

  • NO BLACKHAWK SERPA HOLSTERS ALLOWED

• 400 rounds of quality ammo (MINIMUM)

• Ear/Eye Protection

• Rain gear and Appropriate Clothing

• Hat, bugs spray, sun block

• Pen and paper
